How do we define "worth"? Unfortunately, we often define it in worldly terms. Money. Success. Something that meets our wants and/or moves us forward in life. We typically find value in selfish things. And when those things don't work out the way we expect, we are frustrated, upset and thankless. A good sign of worthy endeavors is when we are able to thank God, no matter the outcome or the impact on us. If we fail but fail doing what God wants of us, do we really fail and if we don't really fail, then it should be easy to thank God.
Lord, help me to find worth in what you deem to be worthy.
