Athletes always work harder when the coach is around. It is human nature. Home field advantage exists for a reason. When your fans are screaming for you, it makes a difference. We are human. But we are asked to be more than the average human when we choose to follow Christ. Our motivation should be God and not people.
Lord, help me to be more excited to please You than to please others.
