Have you ever had someone complain to you about something you have done to them AND THEN they ask you for something? If you have kids, it happens a lot. Whining, followed by asking for something, like a toy. My response is seldom accommodating. God gave us kids so we know what it is like for Him when we complain and whine and then ask Him for something.
Lord, help me to choose to have a strong relationship with You, so that when I ask for something, it isn't from a position of being distant from You.
