Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, Colossians 3:23
"Whatever you do ...". This verse is often used to encourage us to work hard in "all things", even the "little things". We often need that encouragement. However, we also need to be encouraged to put God at the center of whatever we do, especially the important things that we feel we need to control ourselves or accomplish for ourselves.
Lord, help me to not compartmentalize my life into "my" things and "your" things.
