"Don't you know that the runners in a stadium all race, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way to win the prize. Now everyone who competes exercises self-control in everything. It is quite simple, if it really matters to you, you will devote time and money and resources and effort to it. We all need to look at our life and see what we spend our time on most, what we spend our money on most and how we dispense our resources and effort. That is what matters most to us.
Lord, help me to be honest about what matters most in my life and help my life to reflect it.
