... When we lack trust. "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;" (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear is a human condition based on our inability to fully trust. We are scared of the dark because we don't trust that the evil clown is not there. We are scared of public speaking because we don't trust our ability to speak well and we don't trust that the audience will show us grace if we mess up. We fear death because we don't trust that God will take care of us after we die. We fear life because we don't trust that God will take care of us before we die.
Lord, help me to trust more so I fear less.
