“But have nothing to do with pointless and silly myths. Rather, train yourself in godliness. For the training of the body has limited benefit, but godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.” 1 Timothy 4:7-8
There is a HUGE difference between "being busy" and "being unproductive". We often complain about being "too busy" for activities or actions that are beneficial to us and to those around us. The honest truth is that we unfortunately consume ourselves with "pointless" and "silly" topics that are a complete waste of time. Fun is one thing but when we put time into what others think of us or how someone seems to have more than us and it isn't fair or why our lives aren't what we want them to be, when our time can be spent doing things that warrant being thought of well or doing enough to deserve having more than others or pursuing the life we want and not wishing it to happen, then we are not wasting time.
Lord, help me to focus on You and meaningful things and not wasting my time on stupid stuff.
