There is a time for everything. That is fortunate if the "thing" is positive but it is unfortunate if the "thing" is negative. We need to be open and prepared for both. We should not be too surprised when things happen that are unexpected, but prepared to deal with them and know that God will get us through them. We also need to have hope in things to come.
Lord, thank You that You are not surprised with the events of my life and You are there to help me, always.
