We may feel as if we are getting away with something when we don't tell the truth or when we stand firm on a stance that inevitably becomes outdated. The fact is that we lose in the end. Lying and cheating causes us to lose a part of our soul and when we fail to see the truth in the world and when we fail to align with that truth, we lose and we do not help society to win.
Lord, help me to hear the truth and to speak the truth.
