Everyone hates losing. And everyone would much rather win. It is hard to find someone who loves losing and doesn't like to win. Hating to lose does not make a person "competitive". It makes you human. To be truly a competitive person you must dislike losing more than you love to win. The joy placed on winning isn't as much as the pain of losing and that difference is what motivates competitive people. For those who are competitive, it would make sense to do everything possible to avoid losing and to insure winning. God is the source of our victory in this life. For those who are competitive, following Christ and seeking God is a competitive advantage that shouldn't be passed up.
Lord, thanks for allowing me to be on Your team which is the winning team.
