“Make your ways known to me, Lord; teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; I wait for you all day long.” Psalm 25:4-5
One of the problems with being smart is that we think we know it all. Being intelligent leads us to a false sense of confidence that WE can figure life out ourselves. When we think we know it all, we feel the need to solve all of our problems without listening to others. The fact is that we are blessed to know a lot and to be able to think but we don't know it all and we MUST rely on God to teach us and rely on others who know God to step in and help as well.
Lord, thank You for big brains but allow that brain to be humble and open to You!
