“I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,” says the LORD Almighty. Malachi 3:1
We often lose the message because we get too caught up with the messenger. The messenger doesn't meet our expectations or they don't deliver the message in the manner we prefer. The same may be true for us when we deliver a message. We may get in the way. It is important to have a message that is worth delivering and then deliver it well. And when others are sending us a message, we need to be mature enough to listen to the message and not be distracted by the messenger.
Lord, thank you that Your message is worth hearing and thank you for sending the perfect messenger, a defenseless baby with no ulterior motive.
