“Be strong and courageous; don’t be terrified or afraid of them. For it is the Lord your God who goes with you; He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
It is interesting how exponentially our courage increases with the more people we have with us and on our side. Alone, at home, laying in bed and having a hard time falling asleep, our minds can run wild with doubt and fear. A few ours before or after while hanging out with a bunch of friends and family and loved ones, those same thoughts have much less impact. The beautiful reality is that God is always with us and He accounts for at least a thousand close friends.
Lord, thank you for being with me and please allow that to be enough to give me strength.
