"But Jesus spoke to them at once. 'Don’t be afraid,' he said. 'Take courage. I am here!' Then Peter called to him, 'Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.' 'Yes, come,' Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus." Matthew 14:27-29
Chances are pretty low to non existent that any of us are going to be asked to walk on water today. However, chances are pretty high that we are going to feel as if we are being asked to create a miracle. The reality is that we are simply asked to trust God with something that is relatively small but we simply don't want to give up our control.
Lord, thank you that I don't need to walk on water today but help me to have the faith when I feel that is what is being asked of me.
