Most of our love is self serving. We often say "I love you' in hopes that someone will return the gesture. We show our "love" to others, in hopes that the act will be reciprocated. We love others when it is convenient. We love others when we know we will be loved in return. We rarely love for the sake of loving someone.
Lord, help my love to look more like Your love.
