Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. Exodus 14:13
Putting something behind you is one thing but never looking back is a much more important next step. God has claimed victory in our lives and we do not need to live in fear of our past mistakes. We can choose to continue to turn around and look to see if our mistakes of the past are still there or we can fix our eyes ahead and move forward.
Lord, thank you for saving me and forgiving me and help me to save myself a lot of unneeded pain by forgiving myself and moving forward.
