Freedom has a price. That price is not only the lives of those who bought that freedom. Freedom has the price of responsibility. With freedom, we are responsible for using that freedom to help others. Freedom is used improperly if it is only used for our own self-interest. This is true for freedom that comes from being US Citizens and it is true for the freedom that comes from being Christ followers.
Lord, help me to use my freedom to help others.
