There is no better litmus test for entitlement than someone who refuses to accept a gift. Entitlement gives a person the sense that they can get something any time they want (if they don't have it already) and gifts have little value. God gave us a gift that keeps on giving. God has given us a gift we don't deserve. God has given us a gift that we can never repay. God has given us a gift with immeasurable value. God has given us a gift that He desires us to accept. Our only reciprocation is accepting the gift and appreciating the gift through our obedient action.
