“I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.” Philippians 3:13b-14
It is interesting how often we set goals and forget about them a few moments later. The goals must not have been very important to us. Even more interesting is how quickly we give up on our goals when the goal doesn't seem as easy as we had hoped or expected. Life is far from easy. Seeking God fully is far from easy as well. We miss out on the blessings of this life when we our first instinct is to quit instead of pressing on through the "not easy".
Lord, thank you for giving me the ability to press on and please give me the attitude to press on.
