Plugged In!

“Remain in Me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, neither can you unless you remain in Me.” John 15:4

A toaster that is not plugged in is just an expensive bread holder for 2-4 slices. In order for a toaster to serve it's purpose, the toaster must be plugged in to a power source. An unplugged toaster is not productive and fails to function to it's full potential (now replace "toaster" with "person" and "power source" with "God" in the previous two sentences ... an even in the first sentence if you want a chuckle).

Lord, help me to stay plugged in so I can reach my full potential.
