Personal? Perhaps. Private? Absolutely not. A Christian faith is not intended to be private. We must have a personal relationship with Christ. Our parent's relationship with Christ doesn't automatically transfer to us. Furthermore, once we have that personal relationship, God never commands or calls us to make it private. He wants us to share it, live it and relate to others through it.
Lord, help me to prevent making my personal decision to follow you from being private and limiting my growth and the growth of others.
