Now that I have your attention ... If you are a parent, then you know full well what disobedience looks like. Our children model it every day. Even the most veteran parent with the ideal child will suffer the inevitability of disobedience. For those who have witnessed disobedience first hand, you know how aggravating it can be and how patient you must be to tolerate it. Frustration is just the tip of the iceberg when dealing with disobedience. On the other end, it is hard to be obedient because it requires trust.
Lord, help me trust you and to show obedience to You and thank you for your patience with me when I am disobedient.
