How many parents have thought this or maybe, in a moment of frustration and in an attempt to guilt their kid, they have even uttered this phrase to their child? Parents have unconditional love for their child but it is hard to accept that this unconditional love is reciprocal. Parents feel loved when children obey. God feels the same way.
Lord, I am sorry for my unloving behavior and hope I am able to demonstrate my love more often through obedience to You.
