Why is God worth worshiping, following, obeying and listening to? Because there is probably no one else that you know who loved you first. Sure, you love people because they love you. But those people also love you because you love them. We can debate who loved who first but the answer is probably "you loved at the same time". In other words, few people love without conditions. God not only loved us first but most importantly loved us with no guarantee that we would ever love Him back.
Lord, thank you for loving me even when I don't show my love in return.
