Never Kick a Dog!

Principles are fundamental beliefs that help us to make decisions. If I have a principle "I will never kick a dog", then whenever I am around a dog, no matter how annoying or aggressive that dog is toward me, I will not kick that dog. Principles are helpful when we struggle to make decisions or to behave in a manner that we desire. "I will get up and workout every morning, no matter how tired I am or how dark it is outside". "I will pray every day, no matter how busy I may be or how much I think I don't need prayer or even when I think God doesn't want to hear my prayers."

Lord, help me to pray more often and help me to do the other things I know I want to do and should do.
