Something multiplied by "one" results in the same something. Something multiplied by "a thousand" results in a thousand more of something. Something multiplied by "zero" results in less than the original something and actually, nothing. Physical training is not zero. It is not worthless. It has value. However, godliness is far from zero and far from one. It is most likely far from a thousand. Godliness makes everything much better.
Lord, help me to see the value that exists in pursuing my spiritual potential.
