Showing up is a good start but the effort and attention given when we show up matters. Unfortunately, we give ourselves too much credit for having a pulse and being in attendance. "Attendance Points" in school has ruined society. When showing up is the standard, we will always fail to reach our full potential in anything, especially when it comes to our faith.
Lord, help me to not only show up, which is a great first step, but help me to "run to win".
