We tend to either forget or not fully understand the purpose of life and our place in it. Life is about relationships. Our relationship with God and our relationship with others. If these two actions are not important, God wouldn't command us to do them (see Matthew 22:37-39). Life isn't about rules and judging what others are or aren't doing. Life comes down to relationships. And relationships aren't easy. Relationships with both God and others require intentional thoughts and actions. Lord, help me to embrace the challenges of life and of relationships so that I may live a meaningful life.
