There are very few people that go through their entire lives saying "Life is so easy!". We may have times in our lives that feel easy and life is going as planned but those times are typically not the norm of our entire life. Most would agree that life is hard sometimes and for some, it seems as if life is hard all of the time. God never said that life would be easy. Unfortunately, we don't help the matter with our own actions. However, God does give us some very sound advice that if we seek good, we will find good. When going through hard times, it is difficult to stop and to be completely honest with ourselves and take responsibility for what we have contributed to our hard situation. We may not have "caused" it but we may have contributed to it in some way.
Lord, help me to seek good and to also take responsibility when my evil comes back to bite me.
