You either believe that God uses things for His purposes, no matter how bad we may think that they may be OR we don't believe God has that ability. When we question whether God can do such a miraculous transformation in certain circumstances (ie - the situation is beyond bad and has no redeeming quality), then we limit God's ultimate power. God is either the God who can do the miraculous and the impossible OR He isn't God.
