When I took Driver's Ed in High School (yes, it was an actual course in HS back in the day), we all learned the IPDE Process. Identify the danger, Predict what will happen, Decide what to do, Execute! Even if you don't recognize the IPDE Process, you probably remember the Scientific Method from Middle School science class. Both of these procedures include a very important step ... ACTION. Whether it is EXECUTING or TESTING THE HYPOTHESIS, we must actually get off the "couch" and do something.
