Societies downfall will be ultimately linked back to Social Media. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter. Pictures and comments that depict our "best' and little to no reference to our "worst" (unless it is a Tweet bashing someone else). FB and Instagram are full of our "best" pictures, where we look the way we want to be seen and the words that accompany those photos are words that show others how we want to be thought of. This 100% filtered and cleansed portrait of our lives is a lie and only leads others to a false sense of who we are and also a false sense of who they are. No one is this flawless. We all sin. We all fall short of God's plan. We all have zits and say stupid things and trip and fall over imaginary cracks in the sidewalk. I do. You do. We all do.
Lord, forgive me for my sins and help me to forgive others for theirs and help me to spend more time praying for others than "liking" them.
