It is somewhat embarrassing how often we talk about the desire to "be our best" and to "be successful" and to "grow", yet we spend so much of our life complaining about hard things in our life (which lead to growth and learning), as well as the amount of time avoiding all of the countless opportunities to learn and improve our knowledge and wisdom (read, study, research, practice, accept advice from others).
Lord, help me to be better at putting my hopes and desires to action by spending more time learning and less time complaining about my opportunities to learn.
