There are those who plan ahead and those who don't. For those who don't plan ahead, they fall into the trap "Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail". However, those who plan ahead also fall into a trap in that they feel that without a plan they can't function. God doesn't want us to go through life aimlessly and without any goals or guidance. However, God also doesn't want us to feel that we are in complete control of what tomorrow will bring. Only God knows and the reality is that tomorrow may not come and if that is the case, how did our plan work out?
Lord, help me to be responsible but also mindful that all that matters is today and living it right.
