“Instruct them to do what is good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and willing to share, storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of what is truly life.” 1 Timothy 6:18-19
We find ourselves around a lot of people. Friends, family, coworkers, teammates and acquaintances. Are we being a good influence on them? Are they being a good influence on us and others? Often times, we avoid conflict and allow bad behavior to exist and we justify our silence, when we instead should be bold and encourage others to contribute rather than to detract from those around them.
Lord, help me to realize that my silence around those doing or saying bad becomes silent acceptance of their actions.
