The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. John 1:9-10
If you have to ask the question, then you aren't as cool as you think you are. The only exception is Jesus. If anyone could ever drop the "Don't you know who I am" line and truly be shocked, it would be Jesus. However, Jesus didn't come as an adult with all kinds of fanfair. He came as a little baby. No one should have known who he was. We don't have that same excuse now.
Lord, thank you for being clear about who you are to me and what you have done for me.
