In our daily lives, independence and freedom are often used interchangeably. In terms of our faith in Jesus, we have been afforded freedom but that does not mean we are independent from God. In fact, our freedom requires us to be dependent on Him.
Lord, help me to avoid being fooled to believe that my freedom that I have through You also means I don't need You.
