I don't know if this is a thing or not but when I was growing up, people used to talk about "death bed conversions" in the context of "why would I follow Jesus my whole life and deprive myself of all the things I want if I can just convert on my death bed and have the best of both worlds?" Obviously, those who believe in the advantage of "death bed conversion" or even worse, believe that a life on this planet without Christ as being better than a life with Christ, simply haven't spent a day with Christ and seen the drastic benefit that He provides.
