Happiness and Sadness are reactions to our circumstances. Joy is an attitude and we choose our attitude, despite our circumstances. We choose joy because we trust God. And peace is a product of our trust and therefore our joy. And Confidence is a product of our peace that comes from choosing joy, based on our trust in God.
Lord, I pray that You, the source of hope, will fill me and others completely with joy and peace because we trust You. Then we will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
