"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing."
1 Thessalonians 5:11
When we encourage others, we "instill courage" in them. When we have courage, we are not afraid. We don't coward away. We charge forward. We engage in activity. When we discourage others, we don't help them to charge forward. If our goal is to help others, then encouragement should be our only option.
Lord, help me to instill courage and to also be encouraged.
