Foot lamps were actually a think back in the day. An actual lamp attached to the sandal to help light the path that the wearer would walk. A lamp on the foot brought more light to each footstep. The Word of God is like that foot lamp. It is meant to guide every step we take.
Lord, help me to realize that every step without Your guidance is a step in the dark.
