I remember my daughter opening up a gift on Christmas morning and exclaiming "Best Gift Ever!" I was pretty excited because I picked out the gift. Then she opened the next gift. Again, "Best Gift Ever!" Well, the good news is that she was easy to please and liked the gifts. Unfortunately, we aren't as easy to please sometimes. We take many of the gifts that God gives us for granted. And God has given us many great gifts. More than we acknowledge. One of those gifts is peace.
Lord, thank You for the gift of peace as peace is a gift that I can't give myself.
