A little boy who often made bad choices asked his dad, "Daddy, why is it raining?" The dad responded, "Those are God's tears". The boy asked confused, "Why is God crying?" The dad replied, "Probably because of something YOU did." Obviously rain is not God's tears but He does care about us enough that He hurts when we make bad choices that hurt ourselves.
Lord, thank You for loving me and help me to realize that You hurt when I hurt.
