When you think about the story of Jesus' last day on earth, it is anything but merciful. Those around Jesus treated Him extremely unmerciful and they were themselves, merciless. Yet God used an event that is completely void of mercy to show the MOST MERCIFUL act to us, by wiping away our sins.
Lord, please help me to be more like You as You don't treat people as You are treated.
