Run in such a way to win the prize." 1 Corinthians 9:24  If you compete to win, you give yourself a chance to win and to also be the best you can be.  If you live your life to 'win', you give yourself a chance to 'win' and to also be the best you can be.  If you compete/live to get second or third of fourth, you most likely will get fifth or sixth or thirtieth because what makes you think striving for anything but your best will get you anything worth achieving?  ​"I don't do things HALF-HEARTEDLY.
