Unfortunately, it doesn't take much these days to be considered "good" or to receive praise for accomplishments because, quite honestly, the bar is really low. The truth is that there are more people who are lazy and quitters than there are people who are attempting to reach their full potential. The problem with the low bar is it leads us to believe that we are good, when in fact, we are simply better than a bunch of lazy, incompetent people who lack any motivation or resilience.
