Competitive people do not hate losing. EVERYONE hates losing. I don't know anyone who says, "I hope to lose today". We all love winning. We all don't have the heart, guts, or various other internal organs that it takes to put in the work to win. We want the result but we don't want to pay the price. Anyone can "run" a marathon. ANYONE. Finishing a marathon is not impressive. Running the entire time is more impressive than finishing by walking. However, TRAINING for months to run a marathon relatively fast is the most impressive thing. Every day, for weeks and months, increasing from no running to a 20 mile long run is an amazing feat that few accomplish. “The key is not the will to win. Everybody has that. It is the will to prepare to win that is important.” Bobby Knight
