Something moving fast in one direction is very difficult to stop. It is even more difficult, if not impossible, to reverse it's direction. We tend to underestimate the importance of momentum in our lives. When we have momentum (things are going well) we must lean in and take advantage of it. Ride the wave!!!! In contrast, when the momentum seems to be going the other way (in a negative direction), the best solution is to first STOP the negative momentum and then once that is accomplished, start moving in the positive direction. You don't shift a car from reverse to drive You shift to neutral first. The same is true with our brains. But once we are in drive, we need to keep pressing the vertical pedal on the right.
"Consistency builds momentum and that's how dreams become a reality," Daniel Walters
