Wise is more than "smart" or "intelligent". It refers to being both knowledgeable but also having good judgement. There are a ton of smart people on the planet who do not make good decisions. We often are our own worst enemies as we try to think our way through life instead of discern our way through the decisions we make.
Lord, thank You for guiding me through the challenges of life and help me to be "smart" enough to listen to Your wise counsel.
