Feeling unappreciated is frustrating and discouraging. You seem to always be doing the right thing and investing in others and no one seems to notice or care. Maybe that is because our motivation is selfishly that someone "notices and cares" instead of actually selflessly investing in others because it is the right thing to do. I have been humbled many times by either having this attitude and realizing I was doing things for myself and not others OR when I was indeed doing things for others and not for myself, God blesses me more than I could ever get from human praise.
Lord, help me to realize that doing right and good is the only reason to do right and good and You will always bless that in Your way and in Your timing.
